If I have a beam that is loaded at either end with half its carrying load (P), but also lifted by cables at either end, how would I analyze this scenario?

The payload is easy, its just P/2 at either end, but how would I define the restraints of the cables lifting it, in such a way that it would not compromise any of the beams behaviour? Since the cables are at an angle, there would also be a compressive horizontal component and not only the vertical load.

I have tried a number of options, including Remote Loads, exceptionally stiff Springs, Links & Rigid Connections. None of them allow for the suitable behaviour. The only one that comes close is the link, but it makes the model very unstable.
