I have done this in the past by going to the workshops tab then clicking on Views. When the Workshops dialog box opens, I click the custom button and then click the selected properties which I have color and type selected in the properties pane, then I click create. The view is now created (or so I thought). Then I export the view and save it on my computer.

Once I open another model that contains the same assy I created the color view from, I try to import the color view that I just created and it brings it in without the colors!!! It driving me nuts. Please help!
