I am a beginner user of Solidworks 2012. The projct I'm working on is to draw some hollowcore structured fibers (cross section looks like a honeycomb). I watched some youtube videos, and now I was able to make some spiral tubes (creat a helix curve and then sweep). But now I had a hard time to make the hollowcore structure along the spiral tubes. I use the "Cut and Extrude" feature, but the cut doesn't go along the spiral curve, it just cut straight. I found a youtube video, he was able to move the "Cut and Extrude" setup forward to "sweep", and that solved the problem. But I wasn't able to do the same thing here, I just don't understand. Can someone help me here?
