Hole Series with Fill Pattern, Performance

Using a fill pattern to create a hole series through three components.  Any change is a slow rebuild.  Assembly is small, dozen simple components.  Fill pattern has a couple hundred holes,

Checked off geometry pattern on the fill pattern feature.

Even with what I consider a good computer, and mangaing features well, I am still finding I can easily tax the resources of SW/Computer.  I refuse to allow errors in sketches and mates to exist, I minimize configurations, defrag and keep the computer clean.  Yet I still find that the system chuggs when I try to add a couple of features togethor that should (in my opinion) work seamlessly.  It works a bit hard when they first are created, but then any changes to one of the features and it drags right down.

Been using SW (and ProE) for over 15 years, the software and the company are good, but I find areas that I believe performance should be better.
