This was posted a few years back.  I've never had this problem until today.  I am now using 2011.  It basically exactly what Nathan describes below.  I've done this before and never had a problem.  Are there any answers out there?

Hidden Line Colors

Has anybody had any issues with Hidden Line colors? We have changed the color for the hidden lines within document properties to something other than gray. When we re-open the document after saving the color reverts back to the default setting? I am guessing this is a bug, but I wanted to put my feelers out to see if everyone else has the same issue.
