I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed the presentation by Eric Bielefeld of Medventure Technology on how to go from a sketch to a solid model of a organically shaped consumer product. This was a virtual course in "how to" and I appreciated the high level of presentation, the focus on design integrity and concern for how what you do early in the process affects downstream data use (surface modeling, solid modelling, and cnc machining). The nuts-and-bolts practical tips were outstanding and something obviously informed by years of experience. He also obviously spent a lot of time preparing the PPT's etc. and I think we all appreciated the hard work.
I only regret I did not bring my video camera to tape the entire event as I would love to watch the presentation a few more times.
Eric, if you can share the excellent PPT you did for this event it would be greatly appreciated.
In the future, perhaps we can record the presentations (I could do that) and post them. That, and a crowd "wave" like at the baseball game.
