Hey guys, I'm looking at modelling a rotary sprung leg, so that when it comes in contact with the ground it bends.
I understand a number of methods to get a spring to move in an animation, but that is only when the two ends of the spring are in contact with a surface at all times, as opposed to just some of the time.
The file attached shows one "leg" and actuator, with a base it would walk on. So when the leg rotates and comes in contact with the base, it begins to bend as the chamber at the top continues to rotate, until the leg can be released.
Many thanks in advance,
Daniel
