Getting feedback on SolidWorks plugin for Cura

Dear SolidWorks community,

maybe some of you already heard of the new plugin, which is available for Cura. It provides better integration to SolidWorks and how allows to open SLDPRT and SLDASM files in Cura directly. This is done by doing the export into STL and, if you have SolidWorks 2017 or more recent, export into 3MF automatically, too.

You don't need to handle any of these files anymore. They are exported into the temporary directory loaded and removed automatically.

Also it cares about using the "fine" export profile. Rotation is also automatically done (but sadly not permanent at the moment, if you reset all transformations).

Additionally there is also an macro, which you can put into an button.

Feel free to post your feedback here. But don't expect that I'll be very active over here, since I'm often very busy. You can get more likely faster feedback on the project page.

PS: For those using CATIA. Yes, there are talks with Dessault Systemes about such an solution, too. Normally I use SolidWorks at work and don't need CATIA. Dessault Systemes has been asked for a sponsorship of an licence, but so far no answer. Shout it out, if you are interested in having an plugin like this for CATIA, too.

Thanks and kind regards
