Folks,

Is there a way of creating a surface given the x,y and  z components and the surface normals. This data was obtained from a CMM for a gear flank.

An example data point is

x               y               z           xn             yn          zn          fn

-40.2941   -35.3673    12.7692  0.7992      -0.304      -0.518   0.0017

I am not sure what fn is

Any information will be appreciated.
