Hello Great Solidworks Community,

I need some help in flatening this surface. I am trying to make an outline of the flatend shape so that I can send it to the laser cutter and get it made in fabric.

I have seen the sheetmetal method for flatening surfaces but I do not believe that is possible for surfaces with several curvatures. I also do not want to invest in an extrernal plug in as we are doing this work for a client and will likely never do this type of work again.

Any help would be appreciated!
