A couple years ago, John “Muggs” Ferguson and others put together a guide for SolidWorks World attendees. It covers the essentials for getting the most out of your time. It doesn't cover things like dress code (which gets asked about sometimes). I think "business casual" is preferred. In my experience, that can mean different things to different people from different places. In some circles, business casual could be a salmon colored cotton pull-over polo shirt and bermuda shorts.
