I have two sheet metal parts which are ideally created as configurations of the same file. The two inner round cuts (in blue) are located so that they are evenly distributed from the center line determined by the hexagonal holes (in red). I want one part to have the hexagonal cuts but not the round cuts and viceversa.
I can suppress the round holes but if I supress the hexagonal cuts, round holes also disappear because they have the hexagonal cuts as references.
I know I could use an equation and reference both cuts to some edge which is the same for both configurations, but I am curious to know if there is anyway I could simply suppress the feature but not the references to the suppressed features.
I hope my phrasing makes sense.
