Today I started receiving a weird error when opening an assembly from 3DExperience, which used to open without issues: "An empty string " is not a valid name". See the screenshot below.
Has anyone ever had such a problem?
Versions:
- SolidWorks 2025 SP2.0
- Design with SolidWorks Hotfix 2.2
- 3DExperience 2025 FD02
Steps to reproduce:
- Search for an item using the 3DExperience sidebar inside SolidWorks.
- Right click and click Open.
Expected result:
- Assembly opens normally.
Real result:
- "An empty string " is not a valid name" error. Assembly does not open. Instead, only one of the children of the assembly opens.
What I already tried:
- Restarting and clearing cache.
