Edge flange for internal edge?

So I'm not so sure the correct description is "edge flange for internal edge", but I'm hoping someone might be able to shed some light on something for me!

I am modelling a part that may or may not NEED to be a sheet metal part, but I dont see why It cant be modeled using sheet metal. That said, I'll admit to not having used sheet metal all that much and so I wanted to model it using sheet metal as a bit of a learning exercise.

Below is a screen shot of what I am trying to do, the base flange is a piece of plate rolled to a radius. I then want to make what would effectively be an edge flange from an edge of the cut out region to for a tab, bend out from the original plate. So far, I have tried:

- edge flange (I assume can only be used on external (straight) edges)

- sketched bend, which sort of worked by adding a base flange to the 'bend edge' then beding that. This however, results in 2 bodies...

How do you do this? Do I need to use a form tool? Can a swept flange do the job?

Normally I would say that there isnt too much I cant do/figure out in SWrks, but sheet metal is a little alien to me and this one has me stumped. I hope its an easy solution that makes me look stuipid!
