Hi,

When I have a drawing with a section line, (shown with a thick line and Thin/Thick Chain linetype), and a dowel symbol; then save as a pdf, the dowel symbol adopts the lineweight and colour of the section line.

When I change the type and/or colour of the section line then the dowel symbol adopts that specific colour and lineweight when the drawing is saved to a pdf.

This has been going on for a couple of years and my reseller has not come up with any good solution or workaround.

I have tried 3rd party pdf programs but then there is the whole problem of saving to the correct page size and fiddle-fartin around with it.

I like the convenience(?) of just saving as pdf through SolidWorks.

Does anyone else have this problem?  Or is this too specific?

This becomes a problem because we do not have a plotter in this plant and I send the pdfs to another plant to be plotted out.

Any ideas? ...suggestions?
