Hello Everyone,
We're a small engineering firm that specializes in plastic assembly equipment and robotic integration, and we seem to have a constant problem with hole sizes and locations.
We do not have the resources for a person on staff to check every hole of every machine, and I'm wondering if there's a way to have Solidworks do the work for me.
Is there anything in the program that can verify that a tapped hole in one plate has the proper size counter bore, counter sink, or through hole in the mating part? To take it a step further, could it also verify that the sizing is correct?
This seems to be a chronic problem and I'd like to do something about it. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know. I would really appreciate it.
Thanks,
Alex
