Apologies if the question has been asked before, but I can't find a way to do a search on the forum to find out whether it has or not.
Here we go. My question relates to Display States.Say I have a sub-assembly 'A' with Display States (DS) 1 & 2. I can create a drawing of this sub assembly and select DS 1 or 2, easy. Now if I insert sub assembly 'A' into assembly 'B', and create a drawing of assembly B, I have no access to DS 1 or 2 (from sub ass'y A). In ass'y 'B', when I select the Component Properties of sub ass'y 'A' in the feature Mgr, the area in the dialog box with the heading: Display State specific properties -> Referenced Display State is greyed out. There is no way to select a display state, as opposed to configurations which can be easily selected. Is this a limitation in the way DS can be used?Cheers.
