While cleaning up my computer I uninstalled SW 2010 b/c everything I am doing now is in 2011.  That was last week sometime.  Today I was looking for an ass'y and its drawing and had to retrieve it from an email in which I sent it to the engineer.  I then had to retrieve all the assy's parts from my backup folder.   I had also saved some appearance files and cannot find them anywhere - that is when it dawned on me that by uninstalling 2010 I may have lost certain files, templates, etc along the way?  I do not typically uninstall programs so quickly and not sure why I did, but I did.  There are a number of files that seem to have "disappeared."  Is it possible that uninstalling SW2010 would have caused this?  I have not run into this before...
