Based on what i am trying to do with a library feature i narrowed it down to this problem:

I have a part and an assembly. The part has a plane called "RR-1" and the assembly has a plane called "RR" which is using "RR-1" as its reference. If i delete "RR-1" from the part and then recreate it with the same name, the plane in the assembly loses its reference. Why is this? I was under the impression that SW uses the plane names to keep track of the references, but apparently there is a unique identifier involved?

I am on SW 2013 sp5 btw.
