I had a copy of Solidworks installed, but after updating from Windows 8 to Windows 8.1, the install got corrupted, and I found that the install/uninstall wizard would not launch on the new 8.1 system (I just got a blank screen). After attempting to remove the program by hand, my computer still seems to believe it is installed, preventing me from installing any newer versions. I want to just completely wipe anything Solidworks off my computer so I can start fresh with a new install.
