Hi all,
My SolidWorks has been constantly crashing for over a week now.
It will apear to be operating normally until I want to switch between open documents and hit "ctrl+tab". My machine suddenly freezes up completely, including all other oher open applications. After about 5 minutes I will finally get access to the task manager where I can manually shut down solidworks. My machine will then return to normal. I've noticed that the crashes even sometimes occur when I click "File" or "Edit".
I'm running SolidWorks 2009 SP5.1 on Windows XP 64 Bit. My machine is a HP Z400 Workstation with an Intel Xeon Processor with speeds of 2.67GHz and 6GB of RAM.
I've tried a complete re-install of SolidWorks and ensured my Service pack is up to date.
I've even replaced all my network cables to ensure it wasn't a connection issue, even though this is unlikely given that all other applications are running fine.
Has anyone elso ever experienced a similar issue?
I need all the help I can get with this as it's causing me a lot of headaches and wasted hours.
Thanks in advance.
