Who thinks this would be useful?
I generally train about 100 beginners each year, and having to tell them to move their mouse towards the top left hand corner to see what's going on - well, it's a bit faint isn't it?

Until you hover over it.

Why?

It's not like it takes up much room, and with LCD screens, your viewing angle sometimes makes things even fainter than they should be.

That's my suggestion anyway - anyone else?
