I understand the basic idea behind configurations. I am working in an assembly model that has 3 axis of rotation/motion with multiple configs for elevation, plan, and normal views in my drawing. As I continue to work in my model and add hardware or change components, how do I make changes in a single configuration or all of the configurations? There are times when I make changes in the model and go to a different config and the model blows up (red). Or I change my model and the drawing changes obviously.  I'm just confused and wonder if someone could point me to a good thread that covers configs or derived configs or how to manipulate multiple configs vs. a single config. Should I make specific configs for drawing views so the drawing isn't affected everytime I move my model? Any help at all is greatly appreciated.
