Configuration Help Needed

Hello All,

I recently started using configurations and I love this feature.

I have a rather unique situation (I think). We use a standard off the shelf workholding vise in our shop and we make SW layouts of projects for job setup and documentation purposes.

The modular vise consists of a vise rail and 1 (or more) fixed jaws and (1) or more movable jaws.

I would like to build configurations for these. I see this getting a little complex but it will be worth the effort.

The vise rail has serrations and the jaws do as well. The jaws can be positioned anywhere along the length of the vise rail by matching the serrations. The pitch is consistent. So, what I am trying to do is set a configuration whereas I can input a dimension +/- from center to change the jaw positions. I would prefer the dimension be in units of serrations. So, if I want to move the jaw back from center I could enter - 10 and it would move 10 serrations or pitch back. Conversely, + 10 would move the jaw forward.

I am familiar with dimension mates but I don't know how to force this to be units of a particular amount.

Attached is a photo.

I would appreciate any suggestions to point me down some options.

Thank you all and have a great day!
