Hi All,

I do alot of routing and weldments with large assembly files (160+Mb). I have been trying to read up on the graphics card and I am dissapointed to hear that the Quadro cards are not the best for Solidworks. We still have issues with speed in our assemblies. Does anyone have any suggestions to tweek our specs to get the best performance?

Here are my specs:

HP Z420 CMT E5-1620 3.6GHz 8GB/500Gb SATA DVD

240GB HYPERX 3K SSD SATA 3 2.5

32GB OF RAM

HP NVIDIA Quadro K5000 4GB Graphics Adapter

Windows 7 64-bit

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
