I just installed Solidworks 2009 sp2.1 on a users computerand there computer is now running much slower. They are a remoteuser so i it hard to tell how slow it is reacting through remotedesktop. The CPU and memory do are not being maxed out and thenetwork connection does not have high usage.
I belive they are using a hp xw6400 with a NV fx3500 but need toconfirm this. They my also be using a Dell Precision 490 with aFX4500.
I also have another local user that upgraded to sp2.1 had is havingsimulator issues. I looks like most of the issues are appearingwhen Solidworks is running. The problem i saw was when they wherepreviewing a jpg in the windows image and fax view and it froze.CPU and memory were OK. They are using a hp xw6400 with a NVfx3500. They where not having these issues before sp2.1.
Any suggestions on what maybe causing this? I have a feeling it issomething to do with the SP and/or the video card drives.SolidworksAdministration
