In need of some help!!!

So what I need to do is strip all appearances from the top level sub assemblies so that ONLY the appearences of the parts in the subassembly are visible. Some of the appearences in the sub assembly parts are dictated by different features on the same part (so one part could have mutliple apperencies defined to different faces).

I'm pulling my hair out, any help would be great! Also if you are feeling extra saucy I'm also looking to see how I can modify this macro to dig deeper to the part level, not just the subassembly level.
