I've modeled a number of parts in SW2009 and assigned materials accordingly. After assigning the material I would like to alter the color of the part without creating a custom material. Basically just change the part color by altering its "appearance". No texture, no real view graphics. Just a simple color change. It won't work. I'm pulling my hair out.
