Change origin

I have a scan of a mechanical part as a cloud point igesfile. There is another iges file containing the locations ofcritical points of the part in 3D space, which imports as a 3Dsketch. Both files have the same origin, but the origin is notaligned with the geometry of the part in any convenient way.

To build a rough solid model of the part I did the following. Keepin mind I don't need accurate surfaces, I'm trying to create arough space envelope of the part. I do however need accuratelocations of the critical points.

- Imported the cloud point data with ScanTo3D.
- Created mesh, did not change the origin.
- Copied the 3D sketch of critical point locations from other file, with same origin as mesh file.
- Aligned origins of 3D Sketch and mesh. The 3D sketch correctlyoverlays on the mesh, so I now have a mesh for approximate surfacegeneration and accurate locations of critical points.
- Using the mesh and critical points I have created a rough solidmodel with critical features in accurate locations.

Because I will be sending this file to a colleague that does nothave ScanTo3D I have now deleted the mesh, so am left with just thesolid model. The origin is still way off however.

What would you do to change the position of the origin now that Ihave an adequate solid model?

Many thanks in advance...
