The way center marks work in SolidWorks is a cruel joke.
I have an assembly model and drawings of a set of progressive rolls that I needed to make subtle changes to.
I Packed & Went the whole set. 14 rolls with drawings and renamed them.
I changed the geometry ( just a few thousandths here and there ) and then I opened the drawings and replaced the dangeling dimensions. The rest of the dimensions looked normal so I continued on thru the drawings. About half the way thru the task I noticed something didn't look right.
Center marks are not parametric to thier hosts!
They do not go dangling when the host is moved!
They are just plain stupid!
