Hello everyone,
I have an issue where drawings are generally laggy and unresponsive even for simple parts. 3d modeling works perfectly fast, but any interactive element in a drawing lags 1-4 seconds. like when i double click a text box, my cursor has the loading icon for 1-4 seconds before allowing me to edit. its like that for tables, notes, dimensions, etc. Over time this makes drawings very tedious to work with.
We run solidworks 2020 integrated with windchill and have some file locations linked to box. I bring that up because I was wondering if its something to do with network connections. I saw someone mention it could be file locations pointing to box files, but i don't see why that would trigger every time i interact with something. I tried on Solidworks 2023 (not connected to windchill) and i get the same lag. Any ideas? Are drawings this unresponsive for everyone?? Thanks.
