I have been trying for days to install Solidworks 3DExperience which is an hours-long experience. I had a 2025 version installed, attempted to upgrade to 2026. That installer deleted the 2025 version in "Program Files/Dassault Systemes/SOLIDWORKS 3DEXPERIENCE", and now the 2026 can never continue installing because it keeps looking for an old resource that doesn't exist. There's this new directory "SOLIDWORKS 3DEXPERIENCE R2026x", but then it rolls back the full installation.
So now my local version is so broken. I was able to launch Solidworks somehow and attempted to click on Help > Deactivate License but then got the message that there isn't an active license. Help please!
- How do I totally uninstall every part of Solidworks and start over? Including the 3DExperience manager?
- How do I deactivate my current license when Solidworks isn't completely installed?
