Okay, after searching the knowledge base I'm fairly certain the answer is no, but...
Is it possible to have Simulation take the results of one static study and use those as inputs for a secondary study?
I can apply loads to parts based on material properties at one temperature. Then the process cools and material properties change. Then the boundary conditions change. What I'm looking for is the relaxed stress state at the end.
Besides saving a deformed body and the reaction forces to use in a subsequent model (which ignores the stresses inside the bodies), is there any way for SW to loop outputs and inputs like this? Or is it a case of needing a more extensive (expensive) FEA package? I don't see any way to export the stresses in a SW format to re-use, it is entirely for transfering to another FEA package.
