hello i'm a student and have an assignment to create a clips without any coil or spring and its look like a pacman that in his stable mode his "mouth" close.

I built a mechanism that will open the clips and my question is how do i use the simulation of the motion and the stress task between the clips and the machanism in the solidworks.

my second question is whitch material i should use to the clips for it will not break and always returns to its static mode after it opened by the mechanism.
