Hi

I'm drawing up a injection molded part that a customer has specified dimples to act as a light diffuser.  likely laser engrave the tooling.  but there's 290x180 of them at 0.2mm diameter.  52,200 dimples in a linear pattern loves to crash solidworks, or sit there on 25% cpu usage for ever.

Probably doesn't help that im running 32bit mode win7,  but it's an Intel i5-2500 running at 4.0ghz + 8gb ram + quadro 2000, so not exactly slow either.

Is there any other way to create these that won't have the computer spazzing out?
