I have searched the forums and don't see anyone posting any benchmark simulation numbers for a machine built up with AMD processors.  I thinking about building another machine specifically for crunching simulation studies and it appears that having multiple processors with multiple cores is the way to go.  The AMD processors for server boards appear to take overclocking and Iiquid cooling better than the intel chips and are a lot cheaper. I know the whole computer build topic has probably been beat to death but I couldn't seem to find specifically much about the AMD multi processor setup.  Any thoughts?
