Alex Lachance was a very active user on all iterations of the solidworks forums.  I realized last week that he hadn't been around for a while.  After doing some searching, I discovered this:

À sa résidence, le lundi 3 novembre 2025 à l'âge de 37 ans et 4 mois, est décédé, subitement, monsieur Alex Lachance, fils de monsieur Christian Lachance et de madame Francine Grondin.

Il demeurait à La Guadeloupe.

Il laisse dans le deuil ses parents : monsieur Christian Lachance et madame Françine Grondin

ses frères : Steve (Monia Godbout) et Jamie Lachance;

sa nièce et son neveu : Précilla Lachance-Laframbroise et Anthony Laframboise.

Il laisse également dans le deuil plusieurs oncles, tantes, cousins, cousines et ami(e)s.

Un hommage en sa mémoire a été célébré le vendredi 14 novembre à 16h30 à la salle commémorative du Parc Commémoratif Chaudière-Appalaches.

At his residence, on Monday, November 3, 2025, at the age of 37 years and 4 months, Alex Lachance, son of Christian Lachance and Francine Grondin, passed away suddenly.

He resided in La Guadeloupe.

He is survived by his parents: Christian Lachance and Francine Grondin;

his brothers: Steve (Monia Godbout) and Jamie Lachance;

his niece and nephew: Précilla Lachance-Laframboise and Anthony Laframboise.

He also leaves to mourn many uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.

A memorial service was held on Friday, November 14, at 4:30 p.m. in the Chaudière-Appalaches Memorial Park's memorial hall.
