I have a cylinder. I want to make a smaller, bent cylinder come out of the top and bottom (which will represent a wire).
I cannot extrude a boss from it my cylinder to make it work, because I cannot extrude another boss from the end of the first boss (which would be a smaller cylinder.)
I cannot seem to draw a line in the axis that would extrude from the end/top of my cylinder, even though i have a plane that bisects the cylinder long-ways.
I cannot draw a line in any one direction and then move it to where I want it to be (the middle of the top face of my cylinder).
I cannot select the midpoint of the circle that makes the top of my cylinder when I attempt to draw a line within the plane that already bisects my cylinder.
In fact, I cannot select any point other than the origin when trying to draw a line from one point to another.
I cannot draw a line from the origin through the entire cylinder, then move the point that is "anchored" to the origin, even when I un-anchor it, because the program says that I will overdefine the line.
I cannot "underdefine" the line even when I take away all relations manually.
So what CAN I do to get a simple bent wire coming out of my cylinder?
