​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Hello all.  This is my first entry in the group.  I am a very old engineer who wants to learn where to start with Solidworks.  I have a collection of old wooden panelling dating from 1916 taken from my grandfather's law office.  It is made of beautiful red cedar and I want to dream up a way of using it somehow.  For this I need to measure it up, thought of using a laser device, and then convert it to drawings from which I could use SW to come up with ways of putting it together. Are there apps available that I could use on my Windows 10 laptop?  Ian Borthwick
