It is hard to fathom that the Original SolidWorks Forum is being swept under the rug. I and some fellow SW users understand the need to redo the UI and redo some of the inner workings of a Forum and what and how it works.
I really want to keep this post short and to the point.. The migration from Old to New is understandably a huge challenge with a lot of obstacles. The layouts and content can be altered and made that we can adjust it to our liking, we will all except that.
There is only one thing that is totally unacceptable, to a point where DSS/SW will loose a lot of traffic to their site and that is to not use "GOOGLE" - Does the Upper Echelon not get how the New Information System works? 99% of the people that want to find information quickly will go two places one is Google and the other Place is Google, get it. So now there are other Forums that will pop up on the Google search engine and guide the people to their sites, get it?? How are we ever going to be able to find the amazing archived articles?? Get out of your cave, the "Stone Age" has been gone eons ago..
