Well, this is kind of fun.
I had a little cavity formed in one of my posterior teeth where I had done my RCT earlier. So, I needed to communicate the exact idea of the problem with the dentist friends staying at home.
Communicating just in words may not be 100% effective so I did 2D drawings of different views to communicate.
But what can limit us when we have such an organic design Apps like xShape by SolidWorks?
I just thought of doing it for fun and this is the result. I am a Mechanical Engineering Student and not a medical student so the cusps' shape and the overall shape may not be accurate but with the capability to communicate in 3D visualization nothing can go wrong.
I used xShape to make the organic subdivided shapes and switched to xDesign for features like fillets and combine. It was really fun doing this. It took me no time to do this.
