I am trying very hard to utilize the computed BOM for exporting of a Master BOM. I keep running into brick walls. Sometimes I need to show more than one configuration on the BOM to identify Primary vs Alternate parts. I would love for the computed BOM to follow the assembly order from the design tree. When I do a save as csv all my data gets crammed into one cell per line item. I have to use a formula to get the hierarchical level formatting to display how I want it to, there should be some options there. The indented formatting needs improvement as the items are barely indented so it is not easily recognized which child belongs to what parent.

I must say that I have seen improvement in the last 3 years regarding the computed BOM. Still a lot of room for improvement though!

PS I like the old forum much better from a user experience perspective. Also where do I add tags?
