Creating drawing templates is supposed to mean that all of your settings for drawing standards will be the same every time you start a new drawing. That does not appear to be the case. Despite creating my own templates, every time I start a new drawing, I have to go back and change each individual base dimension standard from ISO to ANSI, which is cumbersome. Also, despite setting linear precision to .123 in the Units window, every dimension is set to .12 in the individual dimension type windows. It is mind-boggling why you can set a standard in one place, and it is ignored in another. I have to spend at least 5 minutes on every drawing setting it up, which adds up quickly when preparing parts in an assembly for manufacturing.
