To illustrate the problem with both not moving new content to the top and not collapsing titles I'd like to point out that the idea of collapsing titles is essentially gone at this point. You literally have to scroll down several pages to even see it and few people do that. If titles were collapsed and formatted similarly to other forums that post would still be mid page of the front page. If anyone had responded to it, which has happened, it would be even closer to the top.
