Actally iam doing the press fit analysis. All the way shaft needs to be pushed to final position and we need to extract the force required by giving displacement control. In my first iteration i maintained physical interference between shaft and hole. shaft diameter is more than hole and displaced the shaft, plastic card for the material included. the model didn't converge due to stability issues(not even started all undercuts at beggining and came out), but the same model i included contact inteference card and mentioned radial iterference.the model started running and got converged. But iam trying to understand will there be any effect for results. Please help me.
