Considering a plate model under tensile loading, when analysed nonlinearly using Riks step, how is the run decided by Abaqus to end. Attached the stress-strain curve obtained from the mentioned model with an ultimate capacity of 313.3 MPa.
I thought that I will need to input a condition that when reached, Abaqus is to end the run. Because under tensile I expected the model to keep deforming.
The material model used is elastic-plastic with a strain hardening of 1000 MPa, a yield strength of 315 MPa and ultimate tensile strength of 440 MPa.
