Visco-elastic material for a Direct Steady-State beam vibration problem

Hi.

I am wondering if their is a "bug" in the viscoelastic material modelling for direct steady-state beam vibrations.

I am using a very simple beam example and apply the B22 element. I defined an isotropic elastic material and an isotropic viscoelastic material through a table.

When I compare the results of Abaqus with my computations, I found that the viscoelastic properties seems to be only used for the Young's modulus, but not for the shear modulus even though the material is isotropic. The results are really identical, so I am pretty confident that Abaqus uses a complex Young's modulus defined by the viscoelastic table and a constant real valued shear modulus.

Can anybody confirm that? Thanks.
