Hi all! I want to use a user element (VUEL) to act as springs connecting 2 different parts/instances of the model. When I try to add the relevant keywords in the input file, I get an error that *USER ELEMENT can only be included in Model, Part, or Instance, whereas *ELEMENT in Assembly only refers to Dashpots etc. 

Can you suggest a way around this?
