I'm writing a UMAT for Tsai-Wu failure criterion. I've done formulation. I want to know whether the material degradation can itself be done in the UMAT?? Is it necessary to define the material properties as STATEV and imported in UMAT???

Also can the values of FAILURE INDEX be exported to any .txt file.... If yes which statement should be included??
