Hello guys,

for my university project, I need to model and simulate a Fiber in 3D with Abaqus CAE. The Fiber has two layers (I will post a scetch). So the thin layer has to be of cohesive elements. My problem is, that I do not know how to build those cohesive elements. For just know i createt a cohesive section and assigned it. Is that enough? I looked up in the documentation but a real example/tutorial would be nice (maybe i overlooked it ). Are there any nice tutorials for cohesive elements in 3D?

I would appreciate every help :)
